Let Your Light Shine

In May 2020, the Mississippi Arts Commission stopped me in my tracks when a group of artists and musicians collaborated on a performance of “This Little Light of Mine.” I went on to spend much of the summer with this simple tune running through my head. This is the summer I made my dream of Bold Speech Therapy a reality. Although I had been planning for months, it was the time for the hard work to make it happen. I made a promise to myself that despite everything that was going on in the world, despite my insecurities, and despite my fears, I was going to let my light shine.
