Did you know that speech therapists with appropriate training are uniquely qualified to treat written language disorders, including dyslexia? I am trained by the Institute for Multi-Sensory Instruction and incorporate Orton-Gilliagham strategies within a Science of Reading approach. This means I can target ALL skills needed for reading comprehension for the most effective outcomes.

Correcting speech errors and strengthening language skills for school age children is the foundation of what I do. Many children with difficulties in one area of speech or language often have co-occurring difficulties in other areas that may be harder to detect. Your child’s evaluation will include a thorough assessment of all areas of communication.
