Inclusion Statement

In the opening chapter of her book Be the Bridge: Pursuing God’s Heart for Racial Reconciliation, Latasha Morrison wrote, “In the love of the family of God, we must become color brave, color caring, color honoring, and not color blind. We have to recognize the image of God in one another. We have to love despite, and even because of, our differences.”  As a Christ-follower, I am called to love. My door is open to all, regardless of background, age, disability, race, religion, ethnicity, political affiliation, gender identity or sexual orientation. With humility, I commit to listening with empathy and growing in understanding of people who differ from me. When we’re exposed to new ideas and perspectives, we learn important truths about ourselves. I am happy to provide a copy of my Nondiscrimination Policy upon request.
